For sleeves:

1. armhole circumference

2.bicep circumference

3. length of the arm from the shoulder to where you want the sleeve to end

Hollow to waist:

Waist to knee ( where the mermaid should start)

Waist to bottom of the front with your shoes on:

And then how long you want the train on the mermaid to be in the back from the knee to the back end hem.
